Rules Attention! Administrative Rules being proposed, your input is encouraged! The Department of Financial Institutions is preparing proposed administrative rules to be submitted to the Secretary of State’s office on August 15, 2011. If you would like to provide comments about the rules prior to them going to the Secretary of State’s public database for all public input, please submit any comments/questions/concerns to the DFI’s Rules Liaison, Gretchen Conger at gconger@azdfi.gov prior to August 15, 2011. AZDFI will review all public comments and take them into consideration prior to submitting the rules to the Secretary of State’s office. The topics of the proposed rules are all relating to the regulation of the mortgage industry, and all are directly authorized by the recent passage of legislative changes. The three topics are the following:
Please be advised when reading the proposed rules that new proposed language is underlined. Language not underlined is language that already exists in the administrative rules. The proposed rules can be found HERE.
