Current Renewal Packages

Although current renewal packages are available on our website all year, they may only be submitted during the renewal period listed in the chart. Licensees are responsible to submit their completed renewal package and applicable renewal fee to AzDFI by the statutory date. If your completed renewal package and applicable renewal fee are not received by AzDFI on or before the statutory date, your license will be suspended and/or closed.

Renewal Notice Announcement

Effective September 2009, the Department ceased sending out paper renewal notifications. The Department currently sends renewal reminders via email. The renewal reminders are sent to the primary email address on file with the Department. It is important that each licensee ensure that AzDFI has a current primary email address.

New Renewal Application Format

The DFI License Renewal process consists of completing a “DFI License Renewal Application” along with the applicable “Renewal Supplement” and sending both of these completed documents along with the applicable renewal fees to AzDFI on or before your annual renewal date. Listed below you will find the DFI License Renewal Application, applicable Renewal Supplements and instructions for each of these documents.

License Changes

Mortgage Industry - If you are licensed as a mortgage broker, mortgage banker, commercial mortgage broker, commercial mortgage banker or loan originator, then you will need to submit the applicable Amendment Checklist located on the Arizona Jurisdiction page of NMLS. Non-Mortgage Industry Changes

Address Change
Active Manager Change
Responsible Individual Change
Name Change – including changing or adding a DBA/Trade name
Officer Change – including adding and/or deleting officers
Branch Manager Change
Ownership Change

If you made any of the following changes to your license since the last renewal then you must submit a Non-Mortgage Industry License Change Application along with all applicable documents and fees to AzDFI before submitting your renewal package with renewal fees. NOTE: When submitting your renewal package, you are certifying that all information on file with AzDFI is current and accurate and that all applicable documents have been submitted to AzDFI for any changes made since the last renewal.
