Mortgage Fraud  Line

 

The Superintendent is committed to alleviating mortgage fraud in Arizona and welcomes your input and assistance. A multi-agency Mortgage Fraud Task Force was formed in late 2006 with one of its primary objectives pursuing administrative action, removal, and the prosecution of bad actors.

 

Some of the common fraud schemes are:

  • Property Flipping

  • Cash-back to buyers or associates at or after closing
  • Equity Skimming
  • Use of Straw Buyers as purchasers, etc.
